About me:

I was born in 1973, in North Sweden.

I studied painting at Umeå Art School and Domen Art school in Gothenburg. I then went on to study art history and pedagogy at university.

After my studies I moved to London in 1999 and worked there with my paintings for many years.
In 2016 I moved back to my native country. I am now based in Härnösand surrounded by the beautiful High Cost of Sweden.
I love the creative process in the studio. I use mixed media, acrylic, oil, collage, sand and gold leaf. I like to use words, objects and symbols to describe and celebrate the world around me. Life itself is my main subject and inspiration.

When I was younger I struggled to beat cancer, later I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease, a chronic bowel disorder. My medical history and my personal “Life Journey” has opened up my eyes and it has made me more aware of how precious and wonderful life can be and how lucky I am.
